UUFSD-Ministerial Search

Get to know the UUFSD Fellowship from what the Ministerial Search Committee learned through focus groups and a survey

The Survey-List of questions and answers

The UUFSD Ministerial Search Committee conducted a survey of the Fellowship in March and April of 2007. This survey was intended to gather the objective attitudes, opinions, behaviors, preferences, and demographics of members and pledging friends of the Fellowship. The survey was conducted online, on paper, and in some cases, in person – depending on what members preferred.

To elicit the most candid comments, the committee decided to conduct the survey entirely anonymously. Although members didn’t express concerns about confidentiality, nor was the survey designed to dig deeply into controversial areas, the committee felt that keeping it anonymous would encourage the fullest full cooperation.

More than two-thirds of the Fellowship members participated in this process by either completing a survey of attending a Focus Group.

The Ministerial Search Committee also conducted many Focus Groups in order to more deeply probe issues. More information about the Focus Group process can be found on the Focus Group page of this website.
